4-H Culinary Camps: A Taste of Italy

We are pleased to announce Central Region 4-H Culinary Camp will occur this year during its original dates in a modified day camp format. The theme will be A Taste of Italy at both locations. This camp is open to junior high youth in grades 6th – 8th as of January 1, 2021. Promotional materials are attached.

Day camp options:

Wednesday, July 7th 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Oakley Hall, Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville

Limited to the first 20 campers

Cost: $50

Thursday, July 8th 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Lane Agri-Park in Murfreesboro

Limited to the first 16 campers

Cost: $50

First come, first serve with spots this year. Be sure to select the ONE location your 4-H’er wants to attend. Classes will be the same or similar in both locations. We will be selecting 2 teen leaders for each day. Interested high school 4-H’ers may apply for one or both days. The Central Region Teen Leader Application link is below.

The committee is taking necessary precautions to ensure this can be a safe and fun hands-on culinary experience for participants. Current COVID guidelines and recommendations from FCS Nutrition and Food Safety Specialists will be followed during this camp.
